This year we made it our goal to serve all of our chapter members and have a meeting in every part of Los Angeles County. This month we are headed to the Antelope Valley for a fantastic presentation and meeting venue. Please join us for an engaging and thought-provoking evening with Ron Nelms, a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in land surveying across California, Arizona, and Nevada. A past President of CLSA (2018) and Member of the Year (2015), Ron brings a wealth of knowledge from his work in boundary retracements, legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, and expert testimony.

In this workshop, Ron will challenge us to rethink how we approach retracement in the age of precision tools and artificial intelligence. Are we relying too heavily on technology at the expense of sound judgment and historical context?
