Candidates will be selected by applying the following preferences, listed in order of importance:
• A current or former resident of Monterey, San Benito, or Santa Cruz County.

• A student member of a chapter of CLSA in good standing. A student member in good standing will be as defined in current Chapter Bylaws.

• A student who has demonstrated an interest in surveying/geomatics.
