New Sacramento Calibration Base Line

The Sacramento Chapter installed the monuments (0, 150, 420, and 1000 m) for a new Sacramento Calibration Base Line on April 3. NGS is tentatively scheduled to perform the measurements on August 25.

The Sacramento Chapter strongly encourages everyone to make use of the CBLs. In this light, we are sponsoring a friendly “EDM Measurement Competition”. First Place is $100 in cash and prizes!

The monument boxes have the Berntsen Tamper-Proof Access Lids. It will be helpful to have the Berntsen TAM3 tool to open the lids.

The CBL is along the west edge of the North Sacramento Bike Lane, between Bell Avenue and Hunters Creek Drive (see attached location map).
