NGS Webinar, GPS Heights
I want to inform you about an upcoming webinar being offered by NGS entitled 'GPS-derived Heights". It is a 2-part, 2-partial-day workshop, being delivered by webinar from 10AM-1PM(Pacific Time) in about two weeks, on October 6 (Tues) and 7 (Wed).
The link with information is here: http://www.ngs.noaa.gov/corbin/GPS%20Derived%20Heights%20flyer.pdf Please register for both days' seminars, if interested. You would be calling in, and able to see the training on your computer if you download the appropriate software. The invitation is being disseminated widely (nationwide ACSM, USGS, etc), so I advise registering sooner rather than later. Cheers, Marti |

Thanks for the heads up Marti. I would have missed it otherwise.

This sounds good Marti, and I'm looking forward to this webinar.
Like Peter said, thanks for the info.

'software' misleading
It is perhaps misleading to say that you need "software" to participate in NGS Webinars. Your PC DOES need to be Java enabled, and Java-script enabled, which is a form of 'software' that you need to run.

The first day was very good!
Dave Doyle spoke for the first two hours with a lot of good info. Bill Henning spoke for the second hour with more technical issues for GPS observations. Looking forward to tomorrows second part.
