DUTIES: To supervise and participate in professional land surveying work in office right-of-way engineering including legal descriptions, boundary analysis, and project mapping; and to perform related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible experience in performing engineering survey work in either a field or office environment, including 2 years of functional or technical lead work and Training: Completion of two years of college in pre-engineering or related curriculum or completion of a specialized surveying curriculum.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Possession of a Professional Land Surveyor license issued by the State of California. Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid California drivers license may be required with determinations made on a case by case basis. Prior to appointment, candidates will be required to successfully pass a medical examination.

SALARY: $7,355.62 - $8,962.11 per month - Based on a five-step salary plan Includes District payment of 8% PERS - Public Employees¡¦ Retirement System
