TY Lin International is seeking a qualified Survey Technician to work out our San Ramon Office.
Responsible for fulfilling the Survey Technician duties as listed below and for assisting the Survey Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Prepare maps, plats, legal descriptions, and other survey exhibits as required under the supervision of a licensed Land Surveyor.
· Perform office calculations, boundary resolution, and adjustment of field information as directed.
· Perform field work, including control traverses, collecting topographic data, construction stakeout, boundary surveys, and static & RTK GPS surveys.
· Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):
Requires a minimum of 3 years of office and field experience. A LSIT, working toward licensure, is preferred. Must have experience in AutoCAD/LDD and a solid working knowledge of field procedures. Experience in MicroStation, Trimble GPS, total station equipment, Trimble data collection, and office software a plus.
