Another great program was put on from the students this year!
Some things could potentially have been done differently as they tried some different approaches this year. We are all use to the usual program, but this year it definately was different, going to a Thursday and Friday program. Did it work, I'm not the one to make that decission, but it was still good to see all of you that attended. As always, I know the program will benefit from this years conference and the students always WIN!!!
I wasn't able to stay for the banquett, Friday night, but I am curious to hear how it went, and hear the final numbers of how much was given out to the students in scholarships this year.
Everyone has to remember that this conference is put on by the students, for the students and professionals to network and get some good information from the speakers and other professionals they get to socialize with. Their training is more than just sitting in a classroom, as they need mentoring from all to become the next generation of professional land surveyors.
