MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
(must be met by December 8, 2003)



EDUCATION: Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency.

EXPERIENCE: A Certificate of Registration as a Civil Engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors prior to 1982 and four years of technical field surveying work including duties such as interpreting construction documents, making survey calculations, and preparing field notes and sketches,

or

A valid Certificate of Registration as a Land Surveyor issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors,

or

A valid Certificate of Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors and six years of technical field surveying work including interpreting construction documents, making surveying calculations, and preparing field notes and sketches.

NOTES: A valid California Driver License and the use of an automobile will be required at the time of appointment. Business mileage will be reimbursed. Exempt from FLSA.

1) It's in LA.
2) It only pays up to 65k.
3) AND, the kicker, no O/T (exempt from FLSA).

I thought better of my comments later. There is probably an LSIT already living in the LA basin that would be very happy to accept the position.
