I got the good news in the mail yesterday that I passed the test, and am now a PLS. I was sweating the test because I thought it was tougher then the April one. Congrats to all who have passed.

What study material did you use to pass the National Exam?

The most beneficial was the Land Survey Review Manual (Buckner) along with Definitions of Surveying and Related Terms ACSM, and Boundary Control & Legal Principles by Brown. Those are the only three that I used. To pass the state the review guide that I used the most was the CLSA Review Manual which had a lot of good stuff in it.

No number yet! I noticed that yesterday that they added 4 numbers. I called the board and they didn't know when it woud be fully updated. We will see. Anybody know who I can ask to find out when exactly they will be posted. I am sure it will be any day, but after waiting so long for the results you kind of get impatient waiting for the last step in getting your number. Patience is a virtue and I have to work on that. By the way I got a PM asking who am I. My name is Peter and I live in Leona Valley which is a small town located 15 minutes west of Palmdale. I currently commute to Riverside 4 days a week where I am the regional manager for a civil engineering/land surveying firm. We are going to be hopefully relocating to the Lake Matthews area in the next 6 months. I have a 2 year old boy and another boy on the way due in April. Besides that I love the outdoors and like to hunt.
