Leica Geosystems GIS Tools group is looking for an Application Engineering intern to help with the testing of the GS20 PDM (Handheld GPS) and GIS DataPRO office software.
The sucessful candidate will have some knowledge of GIS, and GPS Surveying techniques, as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision. Good communication and written skills are also needed, as well as the ability to work with PC applications, including:
Leica GIS DataPRO (will train)
Leica SKI PRO (will train)
Microsoft Word and Excel
GIS Software experience preferred
The work location is in Torrance, CA (southern Los Angeles), and work hours 20-40hrs per week. This is a paid internship.
